Top Stadium 1: National Cricket Stadium – Karachi, Pakistan

National stadium is one of the biggest cricket stadiums in Pakistan with the capacity of around 65,000 people. Pakistan has outstanding  Test record on this ground with 17 wins and 1 defeat. One of the 1996 world cup matches was played on this ground between S. Africa and W. Indies. Great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar played his first test match and made his debut on this venue on Nov 15, 1989



Top Stadium 2: Gaddafi Stadium – Lahore, Pakistan

Established in 1959, Gaddafi (aka Qaddafi and Qazzafi) stadium Lahore is another huge stadium in the capital of  Punjab with the capacity of around  60,000.  World cup 1996 semi final between Sri Lank and Australia was played on this ground. The headquarter of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is just adjacent to this ground.

Top Stadium 3: Iqbal Stadium – Faisalabad, Pakistan

Iqbal stadium Faisalabad is the third most popular cricket stadium in Pakistan with the capacity of around 25,000.  The wicket on this ground has been known as ‘paradise for batsmen’ due to its less support for the bowlers. Famous umpire Shakoor Rana and Mike Gatting of England incident took place on this ground in 1988.  Worldcup 1996 quarter final between Sri Lanka and England was played on this venue
